Service Description
Got a small tech issue that needs a quick fix? Our remote support lets our technician connect to your computer and help troubleshoot simple problems. It’s ideal for things like software hiccups, email setup issues, or basic device configuration.
Cancellation Policy
Remote support sessions are $75 flat rate, covering up to 30 minutes of troubleshooting. Prepayment is required before the session begins. Payment can be made via credit/debit or e-transfer. Ryan will only attempt a remote session if there is a reasonable chance the issue can be resolved remotely. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the $75 fee can be credited toward an immediate in-house or on-site booking for the same issue. The credit is non-refundable and cannot be used for unrelated services or future issues. Remote Requirements: To complete a remote support session, the following are required: 1. A functioning computer that powers on and loads the operating system 2. A stable internet connection 3. Temporary access permission via a secure remote access tool (instructions will be provided at the time of service) 4. Basic computer familiarity. Customer must be able to open a web browser and follow simple instructions to connect with our technician. (If this is outside your comfort zone, we recommend booking an in-house or on-site appointment instead.) If these requirements aren't met, a remote session may not be possible and alternate service options will be recommended.
